Traffic Stop Turns into Gunfight with Texas State Trooper

JUNCTION, TX — Texas DPS pulled over a suspect in the investigation of the murder of a 7-Eleven clerk in El Paso that happened at 5:38 a.m. in El Paso, according to the DPS.

According to a press release from the El Paso sector Texas DPS, their investigation revealed 25-year-old Arbin Iglesias was the victim of capital murder during a robbery, and his truck was stolen by the suspect who drove east. He was, until later this morning, at-large.

Iglesias was a 7-Eleven convenience store clerk who was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound. The investigation revealed the killing happened during a robbery of he store. The victim’s truck was stolen by the suspect.
