Ala. man crashes into Waffle House during police chase

An Alabama man was arrested early Saturday after he crashed into a Waffle House during a high-speed police chase, according to Kentucky State Police.

Justin Robert Hardin, 36, of Orange Beach, Alabama, was arrested and charged with numerous offenses after police say he shot a person in the head and fled in a vehicle.

According to a Nelson County Sheriff’s Office news release, Nelson County dispatch received a call at 2 a.m. Saturday in reference to a robbery and shots fired in the 2000 block of Boston Road. Deputies arrived and found a victim with a gunshot wound to the head. The homeowner provided a description of the subject and only his first name, the release said.
