CONCORD, Mass. (AP) — Police say a driver called a ride-hailing service to escape after a 35-mile high-speed chase in Massachusetts that included a collision between two police cruisers.
Authorities say the pursuit started in Brockton just after midnight Thursday after an officer tried to pull the driver over for motor vehicle infractions.
Police say the driver sped through multiple towns and onto Interstate 95, at times driving in the wrong direction on the highway.
