A high-speed chase that started in Los Angeles came to a crashing end in Orange early Thursday morning, July 6, police said.
A man and woman suspected in multiple robberies in Los Angeles began a chase with the Los Angeles Police Department about 12:30 a.m., said LAPD spokesman Aareon Jefferson.
The pursuit spread through the northeast parts of Los Angeles traveling at high speeds before hitting a pole in Orange about 45 minutes later. Los Angeles officers arrested the pair soon after the crash. The woman received medical care after complaining of back pain from the crash, Jefferson said.
Cash, cellphones and purses were missing in the robberies, according to police. Some of the evidence was found in their vehicle.
