Read and share our NIJ data results

Now more than ever, law enforcement is in need of 21st century training and technology which empowers them to mitigate risk and protect communities.

Across the nation, police pursuit outcomes are reviewed on a daily basis. These incidents resulted in 360+ fatalities and thousands of injuries per year. In addition, USA TODAY found that these numbers are drastically understated.

StarChase, a pursuit management and GPS tracking technology, was the subject of a cooperative research project with the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). Key U.S. law enforcement agencies around the country contributed to the data collection process.

As part of the collaborative agreement, the NIJ and their report reviewers, suggested that StarChase disseminate this data to the industry via law enforcement associations.

Please take a moment to review these results and to share this “game changing” technology with your members.

StarChase is a game changer that helps save lives.

“The findings—clearly stated in the report—is that ‘when a tag is successfully deployed, there have been no follow-on high-speed pursuits, loss-of-life, injuries or property damage.”
